Retreats at Rydal Hall

Our need to retreat, regroup with God and reflect on his purpose for our lives is often masked when life becomes busy.

At Rydal we aim to address both of these important facets, offering ways of exploring and deepening our spiritual journey with God through discussion and prayer.

Some retreats are organised Quiet Days during which a guest speaker encourages participants to discuss issues arising from a chosen theme. Our Tea Shop will be open for mid-day refreshments or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch. These retreats are free of charge but a donation is welcome.

Others are residential allowing guests more time and space to experience the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and delicious home cooked food.

But at any time of the year we try to provide a place of peace for individuals to retreat from whatever may distract them and draw close to the God who loves and cares for them. Anyone is welcome to arrange their own Personal Retreat to read, pray, meditate or simply be still.

Retreating is a vital part of any adventure. Whether it be at the start or part way through, we at Rydal, would be privileged to be part of your journey.
