World Toilet Day 2019

World Toilet Day 2019

20th October 2019

We are hosting a free event and exhibition in Rydal Hall to highlight the world's sanitation crisis.
2.3 billion people in the world don’t have a toilet. World Toilet Day is about inspiring action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and help achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6, which promises sanitation for all by 2030.

A toilet is not just a toilet. It’s a life-saver, dignity-protector and opportunity-maker.

Whoever you are, wherever you are, sanitation is your human right.

Yet still 1 in 3 people on the planet don't have one.

Please come to our open day on 19th November from 10 - 4pm, learn about how important it is to have a loo and help us fund a toilet for where it is needed.

If 30 people are prepared to part with £2.00 each we can twin our new Tea Shop toilets and provide a loo for a community in need.

We are the only one on the UK map!!
