Set in over 30 acres of garden, woodland and natural beauty, Rydal Hall is the ideal venue for activity days, retreats, meetings or other events in this place of hospitality, tranquility and spirituality.

Rydal Hall has a number of meeting rooms available to host up to 100 people. Facilities can be hired for a number of hours or days as required and with our kitchen team producing delicious home-cooked meals, we can offer a range of catering options to suit each visit.

Within the Hall are four meeting rooms: - The Drawing Room which can accommodate up to 50 people theatre-style; - The Library which can host 12 people boardroom-style plus 8 on comfortable sofas and armchairs; - The Bishop’s Room and Loughrigg Room each provide for up to 8 boardroom-style and also offer sofa seating areas. For larger events the Bishop Bulley Barn is ideal for practical workshop events, celebrations and parties or larger meetings. The Barn can accommodate up to 100 people and, with its own toilet facilities, stage and minstrel’s gallery, is perfect for exhibitions, workshops and training events.

Accommodation at Rydal Hall

The main Hall has 30 bedrooms, sleeping up to 50 houseguests. Most choose to stay full-board, but for those who prefer, we also take bookings for Dinner Bed & Breakfast or simply B&B. Bookings can be made by groups or just private individuals looking for a break.
